Dr. Shawn Layton
Dr. Layton was raised in Globe, AZ, for most of his young life. After completing high school, he served a 2-year mission for his church in Uruguay. Upon returning, he attended Eastern Arizona College and Northern Arizona University earning a bachelor’s degree in Public Management. Dr. Layton attended dental school where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Dr. Layton is married to his wife, Christi, and they have four wonderful children together.
Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active and traveling! He enjoys running, weightlifting, and playing racquetball. He also loves to go wakeboarding, snowboarding, and hiking. He is always looking for the next adventure.
Dr. Steven Cooper
Dr. Cooper was born and raised in the small town of Sandpoint, Idaho, which was once named the most beautiful small town in America by “USA Today.” After completing high school, he moved to Boise, Idaho, where he received a bachelor’s degree from Boise State University. He worked as a dental assistant for three years before attending dental school, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Dr. Cooper’s vision in private practice is to provide a patient centered experience focusing on high quality, comprehensive oral care. He strives to cultivate a gentle and personable experience, allowing his patients to be comfortable and confident in their oral health. He believes our wellbeing starts with our oral health.
Dr. Cooper values new technology and continuing education. He strives to incorporate it into his practice every chance he gets to provide the most optimal treatment options for his patients. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is very excited to be a part of this practice.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with friends, playing games, and just having a relaxing day watching TV.
Breton Lunt
Breton is originally from Duncan, Arizona, where he grew up farming and ranching. After graduating from Duncan High School, he served a two-year mission for his church in Sydney, Australia. Upon returning, he attended Eastern Arizona College for two years. He then moved to Flagstaff and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene at Northern Arizona University. After finishing his education, he decided to return to the Gila Valley to raise his family. Breton has been a valued part of the dental practice since 2007. Breton has been married to his beautiful wife, Stephanie, for 21 years, and they have five amazing kids.
In his free time, some of his favorite activities include camping, off-road vehicle adventures, and basketball.
